Our Raw Honeys

Vermont:

Aster 2025 (Rochester, VT) Beautiful honey—darkish, musky, and creamy.

Buckwheat 2025 (Granville, VT) A summer/fall honey from bees at Clearfield Farm. Creamy and darkish, this batch has a lemony edge. Limited supply.

“Old Gold” 2025 (Granville, VT) From bees at Old Road Farm with nectar sources of various vegetables, mustard, clover, and some goldenrod. Fruity, and a little chewy.

Basswood 2025 (Bennington, VT) has a citrus-like “bite” to it. Golden and a little gritty.

Wildflower 2025 (Cuttingsville, VT) Quite light for a fall honey. A popular choice.

Goldenrod 2025 (Waitsfield, VT) A fall honey with an earthy, yeasty taste. Very low on stock.

“Bamboo” 2023 (Putnamville, VT) Made from “Japanese Bamboo” (aka Knotweed) and other field weeds. Smooth, creamy, blonde, and with a taste of tropical fruit.

VT Knotweed 2025 (Putnamville, VT), a rare fall honey made from Japanese Knotweed nectar. Somewhat dark, with a taste of funky tropical fruitiness.

Out of State: Eight monofloral raw honeys

Clover 2025 (Western Montana) Has a slight cinnamon note.

Star Thistle 2020 (Beulah, MI) Creamy and blonde, with a taste of marzipan and notes of green apple! It’s amazing.

Sage 2024 (San Luis Obispo, CA) Mild, pale and a little gritty, with herbal notes.

Wild Blueberry 2024 (Cherryfield, ME) from the vast fields of low bush blueberries north of Bar Harbor. Smooth and somewhat dark.

Cranberry 2022 (Cape Cod, MA) It doesn’t taste like cranberries but instead has a hint of apricot flavor. Now crystallized, it is a warm golden color and has a gritty mouth feel.

Dark Knotweed 2024 (Cooperstown NY) Very dark with a molasses flavor and strong notes of rum raisin liqueur and dark chocolate. Gritty.

Orange Blossom 2024 (Central FL) From orange groves, with a very strong orange taste.

Tupelo 2026 (Ponce de Leon, FL) from the Florida panhandle swamplands. A rare honey with a green tinge to its color, a buttery mouth feel, and hint of spiciness. Made famous by Van Morrison’s song, Tupelo does not crystalize due to its high fructose/low glucose ratio.
